Free: Virtual Grief Q&A Education Group
This is a once-monthly education group held online where grievers can ask any and all questions on their minds to a radically compassionate women’s grief therapist, Olga Montgomery, LCSW.
Olga is a specialist on the intersection of grief, loss, & contextual behavioral science. Contextual behavioral science is the branch of psychology and mental health care which includes Acceptance & Commitment Therapy as well as Compassion Focused Therapy. Olga provides grief education which is clarifying, relevant to life context, actionable, validating, and radically compassionate.
Olga works with women grieving any loss in the midst of 20’s, 30’s, 40’s life. She is especially well-trained and experienced in working with:
Stress-impacted health challenges including infertility, cancer, chronic pain, and chronic illness
Traumatic loss, sudden loss, & complex loss
Loss of what could have been, loss of what was not, and other ambiguous losses
Caregiver stress and anticipatory grief
This education group is not therapy, does not provide therapy, and does not provide space for processing any emotions. This education group is an excellent support for women who are seeking information as well as women seeking to supplement their established therapy. If you are not sure about whether hearing information related to your loss in a virtual environment is supportive for you—please pause, get some support & ideas from caring people including your professional supports, and make the next right step for you.
Reach out to Jeanine Figueiredo, the Voyager Grief Care & Education Coordinator, for registration support and questions. Please reach out to Olga Montgomery, LCSW, for questions about Grief Q&A Education Group format or content, including what to expect and what is discussed.
Registration is free. Please register for the Zoom link and join us for 1 hour each third Saturday, 11:00am - 12:00pm EST. And please take include you in your own compassion. <3
