You can find more information about each group in the group description—you can also connect with us for a free, supportive introductory call to talk it through one-on-one. Each group is specialized to and focused on a particular experience shared by women in the midst of 20’s, 30’s, 40’s life—look through our open groups for registration to find the one for you.
Step 2: Register for Your Group at Voyager Counseling
When you are ready to register for your group, you can register online. Some groups accommodate direct pay and others require an initial intake call—upon submitting your registration, you can expect a direct, personal email within 1-2 business days to confirm your registration and support you through next steps. You can reach our team directly with any questions as they come up.
Step 3: Breathe, Arrive, & Connect in Community
On the first day of your group… it is normal to feel some trepidation! You will arrive to either our office or Zoom room and be warmly welcomed. Whatever you are feeling, in joining a group for the first time or navigating your grief, we know through experience you are not alone in those feelings and we will support you every step.
We understand how challenging it can be to make authentic, ongoing connections for grief support that understands—in each group at Voyager Counseling, no matter which group you join, you will have opportunity to exchange contact information for continuing support and connection.
We hope you will meaningfully benefit from participating in group at Voyager Counseling. You’ll unpack myths and realities of grief that are relevant to your life while gaining insights and practical strategies that help you change how you relate to yourself and your grief. You’ll have time to ask questions and connect with others. In group therapy, you will be supported to process your feelings with an experienced grief therapist. We hope you gain functionally useful information as well as skills, resources, and connections that carry forward supporting you and your grief long past the women’s grief group itself.
Step 4: Proceed with Support & Self-Compassion
We hope to see you again as long as our services benefit you, and you are welcome to remain involved in our community as well as continue the connections you make in your group. We are each growing in self-compassion and walking towards what matters, one breath at a time, and no matter where grief & life takes you, we are sending you care.
