For Women Navigating Life-Altering Loss While Working as a Therapist/Clinician

$240.00
sold out

Join in community with women of similar career path, stage of life, and struggle with life-altering loss. Learn about holding the love in the loss while including yourself in your own practice of compassion, personally and professionally—but personally, first.

Open to mental health clinicians of any work context and background who are women in their 20’s, 30’s, & 40’s. This course is intentionally gentle in its tone and pace with supportive information that respects your clinical training & honors that you are not here with your professional hat on. We value that as much as you need connection, your whole system might also need a reprieve.

This course can support you to deepen and clarify your comprehension of what’s going on within you and connect with others who understand beyond words. This is a space to turn your attention to your own experience, at least temporarily. Join us to include yourself in your own compassion and your own care.

In this course, you will learn:

  • Grief models beyond the 5 stage model, and how to consider which model works for your grief & your life in an intentional and actionable way

  • Nuanced aspects of working as a caring professional while grieving, specifically about professional boundaries & ‘I am going to fall apart’ worry

  • Concepts and strategies for navigating mortality anxiety

  • How to adjust mindfulness, self-compassion, emotional regulation skills to grief & grieving in a way that (1) respects you, (2) actually happens, and (3) works for you

Courses at Voyager intentionally & compassionately do not include:

  • Therapy of any kind

  • Long sharing—questions sometimes need context, but no sharing during course

  • Discussion of any specific event of death

  • Unpacking of any trauma

Over 4 weeks, you will receive:

  • 2 hours of live Q&A with a radically compassionate women’s grief therapist & LCSW specializing in contextual behavioral approaches for grief care

  • 2 hours of education on topics and themes cultivated specifically for you, with your loss, in your stage of life, presented in compassionately short 15 minute segments

  • 4 hours in community with women like you who understand the ins-and-outs of working as a therapist while grieving a life-altering loss

  • 4 hours of intentional space for you to include yourself in your own care

  • Space to make peer connections over the course of 4 weeks at your own pace

  • Opportunity to participate in contact information sharing at the end of your course, to continue with your whole cohort for organic support & connection indefinitely

Course time: Sundays, 12:00pm - 1:00pm EST

Start date: June 8th, 2025

End date: June 29th, 2025

Sending you lots of care & hope for soft moments on hard days. When you are ready to join your course, please register directly. And please take good care of you, too.
