For Women Grieving Infant Loss
Join in community with women of similar loss and desire to survive through and hold the love in the devastation of infant loss. Losses represented in this group include SUID, SIDS, accidental death, & illness.
In this course, you will receive information & connection to support you. There is no retelling of death or trauma processing in any course—this supports both the woman who isn’t ready to share the story and the woman who has other spaces to share. Come as you are, bring your grief as it is, and learn how to take your grief & loss one breath at a time.
This course can support you to deepen and clarify your comprehension of what’s going on within you (not insanity—grief) and connect with others who understand beyond words. This is a space to turn your attention to your own experience. Join us to include yourself in your own compassion and your own care.
This course is intentionally gentle in its tone and pace with supportive information. We value that as much as you need connection, your whole system might also need a reprieve.
In this course, you will learn:
Grief models beyond the 5 stage model, and how to consider which model works for your grief & your life in an intentional and actionable way
About grieving non-death losses related to what was, what was expected, and what could or should be
The impacts of grief related to identity & strategies for relating with your own identity
Skills & approaches for navigating social stressors & questions around pregnancy, small children, & family planning
Social stressors & intentional practices for building supportive community & honoring your child
Actionable & nuanced aspects of self-compassion after traumatogenic loss
Courses at Voyager intentionally & compassionately do not include:
Therapy of any kind
Long sharing—questions sometimes need context, but no sharing during course
Discussion of any specific event of death
Unpacking of any trauma
