UPDATE: Unfortunately I (Olga) am not feeling well, and I need to rest and probably just lay outside instead of digging up saplings. I will reschedule the Memorial Tree Open House for Spring planting. Please sign up for the monthly newsletter to stay informed and RSVP for that new date. :)
Join us for Voyager Counseling’s first open house, free memorial trees, & compassionate community board.
Memorial trees. We will provide no cost young trees (1-2 years old) for fall planting in honor of your loved one and/or as a gift to the griever you are thinking about. I (Olga) will be gently uprooting, talking to, putting some love and prayer in these trees—I hope the giant varieties of red oak, white oak, and tulip poplar as well as the smaller, colorful eastern redbud will provide greenery and space in loving memory.
Hope board. A dry-erase community board will be available to share words of encouragement, care, understanding, prayers of all kinds, and heartfelt support with grievers in and around Richmond. Please put a message of love for the griever out there and for your own grieving heart.
When? Sunday, September 28th, 2:00pm - 3:30pm
