Professional Consultation
Rooted growth,
clear vision
Professional consultation is provided to behavioral and mental health professionals who have achieved clinical licensure or are seeking supplementation to their existing supervision. Consultation helps mental health professionals to meaningfully deepen their clinical skillset in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and applied Relational Frame Theory as well as apply values-rooted change to clinical practice after life-altering loss. Olga Montgomery, LCSW, is a Virginia Board Approved Clinical Supervisor and an expert in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. In individual or group supervision, you can expect to deepen your clinical skillset and your authentic self-practice to build towards a purposeful career with sustainability, clarity, and meaning.
The Voyager Counseling free Fall training on ACT for Grief & Loss is on Friday, November 13th, 2026, from 1:00pm EST to 4:00pm EST. Register here.
The thing about mortality is: we are equally as mortal as our clients.
In consultation with me, you will directly discuss and build clinical skills to work with mortals. That includes all of the inner capacities of humans aware of their own mortality: thoughts, feelings, anxiety, depression, attachment, joy, fear, post-traumatic stress, pain, post-traumatic resiliency, purpose, and more.
Not only that: you will be encouraged to take a look at and reflect on your own mortality, and where and how you sit on the “other side of the couch” in the therapeutic relationship. You can build your own understanding of how you practice, with whom, based on which values, cultivated from a soil of common humanity. You can modify your practice in the presence of your life-altering loss, and I hope to help.
Transparent process and meaningful growth
How to Begin Professional Consultation
Step One: Request an Introductory Call
Click here to schedule a free, no-pressure 20-minute introductory call. This call is useful to establish whether we are a mutual fit for professional consultation.
Step Two: Scheduling & Intake Documentation
We can conclude our introductory call with scheduling our first consultation. From there, you will receive and complete intake documentation including narrative reflection to frame our professional consultation as well as our consultation agreement.
Step Three: Begin Consultation
At a time that works for both of us, we will engage in professional consultation to support your whole-person mental health practice. You can expect a combination of case review, authentic self-practice, and both didactic and experiential learning about ACT/RFT/FC. Our consultation relationship can continue forward in a rhythm and duration that serves you.
